The Role

The Aspect Integration Lead is responsible for representing the GS (Gesamtsystem) and WS (Waffensystem) aspects throughout the project's engineering, verification & validation (V&V), design reviews, and other processes. This role aims to streamline, clarify, and introduce structure between project processes, involved teams, and aspects. Additionally, this role plays an essential part in aligning planning, verification & validation teams, technical specifications, testing and integration teams, and system integration leads with aspects.

Key responsibilities

  • Coordinating and monitoring all GS and WS aspects across design, verification & validation, testing, and integration processes.
  • Aligning planning and priorities with the different teams within the project.
  • Identifying risks, dependencies, or delays and escalating them to relevant stakeholders for timely resolution.
  • Preparing and presenting Aspect Management Summaries (AMS), one-pagers, and other communication materials to ensure alignment across teams.
  • Organizing workshops and sessions to explain aspects, processes, and responsibilities to project teams.
  • Representing GS and WS aspects in design reviews, integration meetings, and other project forums.
  • Supporting and collaborating with the GS and WS teams, design control, architects, and functional design to ensure proper integration of aspects.

Skills & experience

  • A bachelor’s degree in a technical field with 7–10 years of relevant experience, or a master’s degree with 5–7 years of relevant experience.
  • A strong technical background in mechanical, propulsion, or auxiliary systems, ideally in naval or offshore projects.
  • Proven experience in coordinating multi-disciplinary teams and integrating cross-system requirements.
  • Ability to communicate technical information clearly to both engineers and management.
  • A proactive mindset with strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
  • Good command of the English language both written and verbal.
  • Excellent references antecedents as a pre-employment security screening is standard part of the recruitment procedure.
  • Permanent EU citizenship and passport are both required. Candidates with EU (work) visa or with both an EU and non-EU nationality and/or passport are not eligible in accordance with the requirements imposed by the military nature of our projects.
