Building on previous achievements, the Chief Data Office (CDO) is further stepping up to empower the organization to leverage data and AI. We are looking for a senior and dynamic Lead Data Enablement Partner to join the team. You will be the principal strategic partner, shaping data-driven value creation for Operations. You will report to the Chief Data Officer. This role demands the ability to influence at senior levels of the organization, deep expertise and business acumen.

Role and responsibilities

Serve as the senior-most data enablement leader for Operations, orchestrating integrated, value-driven data and AI enablement initiatives. You will champion the mobilization of data across value streams, sectors and programs, foster senior stakeholder alignment, and accelerate the development of advanced data capabilities. Your mandate: federate to build a world-class data ecosystem, empower business leaders, and enable measurable impact in alignment with strategic priorities.

Federation, Strategic Leadership & Value Creation

  • Co-develop joint understanding of the “art of the possible” for data, analytics and AI enablement, translating priorities into actionable enabling strategies and roadmaps.
  • Act as the key mobilization agent for Operations related value streams, instilling ownership and accountability for strategic data outcomes.
  • Strive for simplification, leveraging existing structures to maximize efficiency and impact.
  • Balance ambitious value capture with data foundations excellence needs, ensuring sustainable, cost-efficient growth.
  • As key data leader, further own and support in CDO and sector strategic themes.

Senior Partnership & Capability Development

  • Forge strong partnerships with senior stakeholders, aligning data strategy with data enablement execution.
  • Facilitate smooth deployment and integration of a federated data operating model.
  • Identify and close capability gaps in area of support, collaborating with central teams to prioritize and accelerate development.
  • Champion data standards and drive continuous improvement, benchmarking against best-in-class market practices.
  • Spearhead promotion of data and AI literacy initiatives.

Education and Experience

  • Proven track record of leadership in change enablement within complex, global organizations.
  • 15+ years of progressive experience in data, analytics, and AI, with a demonstrated ability to deliver strategic impact.
  • Advanced degree (Master’s or higher) in Business Administration, Economics, Data, Engineering, or related discipline.
  • Deep affinity for technology, data, analytics, and AI, with a relentless drive for business transformation.

Reporting directly to the CDO, this role sits within ASML’s IT & Data sector. You will collaborate closely with global leaders and stakeholders in sectors and programs related to Operations. The CDO organization spans a diverse team, delivering data management and governance, data analytics products, data and AI platforms and other central services across ASML, with teams and partners distributed in 3 continents.
