Corporate Communications Internship at JDE Peet’s
JDE Peet’s is looking for a motivated and creative Corporate Communications & Content Intern to support our internal and external communication activities in a dynamic, international and fast-paced environment. This role is ideal for someone who wants to build hands-on experience in content creation, social media, internal communications and cross-functional collaboration within a leading FMCG organisation.
As a Corporate Communications Intern, you will:
- Support in creating content for JDE Peet's social media channels, including LinkedIn, Instagram and TikTok
- Support the development and execution of internal communication campaigns and employee engagement initiatives
- Assist in crafting executive communications, including briefing documents, talking points and messaging frameworks
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external agencies to produce compelling visual and written content
- Monitor and analyse communication performance metrics to optimize engagement and reach
Skills & competences
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, particularly LinkedIn, TikTok, Facebook and Instagram (including current trends, content formats, and audience expectations)
- Solid content creation skills, from idea development to visual and video execution with the support of agencies
- Advanced PowerPoint skills for presentation development; proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, SharePoint) required
- Ability to create clear and engaging written content for diverse audiences
- Comfort with administrative tasks and basic project management, including coordination, follow-ups, and organisation workflows
Soft skills
- Passion and affinity for communication, storytelling and brand narratives
- Flexibility, a proactive mindset and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Fluency in English (spoken and written) / Dutch language skills are a plus
- Team player with excellent interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate across international stakeholders
Educational background
- Must be currently enrolled in a Master’s programme in Communications, Business, Marketing, Economics, Media, Journalism or a related field
- Must remain enrolled for the full duration of the internship (eligibility requirement)
