For Yamaha Motor Europe N.V. (YME), located at Schiphol-Rijk in the Netherlands, we are looking for a PSI Planning Coordinator in our Powered Two Wheelers (PTW) Division.

About the role:

You will, together with the Department Manager PSI Planning and other PSI Planning coordinators, set, monitor, and optimize the PTW purchase and inventory situation in such a way that purchase, sales, and inventory budgets are achieved, potential risks are minimized, and a clear and transparent supply situation within YMENV and towards distributors is ensured.

Your responsibilities:

  • Strategically manage pan-European purchase and inventory for assigned PTW products based on distributor sales and forecasting data.
  • Optimize stock levels and efficiently fulfill future dealer orders while strictly adhering to financial budgets and J-SOX compliance standards.
  • Coordinate and control purchase order supply to warehouses and distributors, providing x-trade distributors with timely information about actual supply and availability.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date PTW product model line-up and pricing to ensure a smooth process for monthly, long-term, and mid-term ordering.
  • Manage and control the invoice process from factories to YMENV to ensure optimal invoice administration.
  • Manage and report on warehouse inventories daily, initiating and suggesting countermeasures as needed.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the PTW product line-up, markets, and distributor organizations to analyze data and take or propose appropriate actions.
  • Build and maintain healthy working relationships with distributors and YMENV internal colleagues.
  • Proactively propose and initiate discussions to contribute to the improvement of procedures, systems, and results together with all stakeholders.

What do you bring?

  • Minimum 4-6 years of business experience in a related field
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills with external stakeholders
  • Deep knowledge of PSI operations
  • Analytical and reporting skills (BI Cognos, Excel – pivot tables)
  • High accuracy in your work
  • Fluency in English is mandatory; other European languages are an advantage
