This is the role

As our Finance Manager for the Netherlands, you’ll play a key role in driving performance, integrity, and strategic alignment across Podimo Netherlands, Tonny Media, and Dag en Nacht. Tonny Media and Dag en Nacht are the amazing studios that create content for the Podimo platform for our users to enjoy.

You’ll oversee all local financial activities - including reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and compliance - while acting as the go-to finance partner for our Dutch leadership teams, supporting them with strategic financial decisions. Your work will help us ensure financial insights inform business decisions, that processes are efficient and compliant, and that the Dutch entities operate with clarity, control, and alignment with general group priorities.

The role is based in our Amsterdam offices. You will report directly to our Global FP&A & Strategic Finance Lead while working closely with key stakeholders across Podimo Netherlands, Tonny Media, and Dag en Nacht.

Some travel activity is required.

What you'll do:

• Oversee all financial operations across Tonny Media, Dag en Nacht, and Podimo Netherlands, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes and provide financial insights to guide local and group decision-making.
• Partner with leadership teams to evaluate performance, manage risks, and identify growth and efficiency opportunities.
• Act as the local financial representative, aligning with group standards and supporting audits and external reporting.
• Manage and develop the local finance setup, fostering strong collaboration with central Finance, Accounting, and Payroll.
• Drive process improvements that enhance transparency, control, and scalability across entities.
• Support strategic planning for the Dutch market, ensuring financial alignment with group objectives.

This is you

You’ll thrive in this role if you’re someone who combines financial expertise with a collaborative, curious mindset. You like to work with people as much as with numbers — and you enjoy bringing clarity to complexity.

• You have 5-7 years of experience in finance, FP&A, controlling, or audit, ideally from a dynamic, fast-moving environment (media, entertainment, or tech is a plus).
• You’re confident in budgeting, forecasting, financial modelling, and guiding decisions through data and insight.
• You have a strong understanding of Dutch GAAP, local compliance, and reporting requirements.
• You’re comfortable working across multiple entities and stakeholders, and you bring structure and calm to fast-changing situations.
• You enjoy improving processes, finding clarity in messy situations, and helping teams work smarter.
• You’re a thoughtful communicator who knows how to build trust and influence decisions.
• You enjoy shifting between strategic thinking and hands-on operational work.
• You’re fluent in English, verbal and in writing. Dutch is a bonus, but not a requirement.

Naturally, being passionate and knowledgeable about podcasts, audio content, media, and entertainment is a big plus!
