Product Owner

Alphacomm is searching for an exceptional Product Owner. We need someone who thrives under pressure and isn't afraid to own products that process millions of transactions.

At Alphacomm, we believe that buying digital products such as travel eSIMs, mobile top-ups, gift cards and other e-vouchers should be just as easy as buying them in a store. We sell software as a service (SaaS) solutions which make it super easy to sell these products. We provide plug & play web shops, enable all relevant payment methods and eliminate payment fraud via our AI driven fraud protection.

Your challenge

Alphacomm is on the hunt for a talented and experienced Product Owner to join and lead our product team. We need someone who can handle the pressure of making our products shine like a disco ball at a dance party. You could be working on launching new travel e-sim shops or digital shops for large retailers or mobile operators.

As a Product Owner at Alphacomm you:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to define the product vision and strategy - think of it as playing a game of Product Visionary Bingo!
• Gather and prioritise product requirements based on customer feedback and market research - it's like being a detective, but instead of solving crimes, you're solving customer problems.
• Create and maintain product roadmaps, ensuring they're as smooth as a freshly paved highway.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including development, sales and finance, to deliver high-quality products - it's like being the conductor of a symphony orchestra, but instead of music, you're creating amazing products.
• Lead product development from ideation to launch, ensuring timely delivery - it's like being a superhero, but instead of saving the world, you're saving product timelines.
• Conduct regular market and competitor analysis to identify opportunities and stay ahead of industry trends - think of it as being a trendsetter, but instead of fashion, you're setting trends in the product world.
• Monitor product performance and gather user feedback to drive continuous improvement - it's like being a product therapist, helping our products become the best versions of themselves.

About you:

• Proven experience (3 to 5 years) as a Product Owner or similar role in the software industry, specifically e-commerce, CRM and payments - we need someone who's been around the product block.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and product development processes - you should know your Agile from your Zumba.
• Technical knowledge, you need to be able to talk and challenge your developers.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills - we want someone who can talk the talk and walk the product walk.
• Ability to translate customer needs into clear product requirements - it's like being a translator, but instead of languages, you're translating customer desires into product features.
• Analytical mindset with a data-driven approach to decision-making - we need someone who can crunch numbers like a mathematician at a pie-eating contest.
• Passion for delivering innovative and user-centric products - we want someone who's as passionate about products as a kid in a candy store. In short, you should be proud of what you release.
• You are available for 32-40 hours a week.
• You live near Rotterdam, Cluj, or Sibiu; travel time from your home max. 60 minutes.
