Be part of progress: Join the Factory Preparation Engineering (FPE) Team

Factory preparation engineering (FPE) is a team that supports our end customers in preparing their factories to receive our EUV systems. To achieve this, we deliver documentation, work preparation, and support to our local teams at customer sites. This is a complex environment with many stakeholders and a growing, developing set of requirements.

Your assignment

You will investigate existing processes within the FPE team and identify areas for improvement. Your goal is to prioritize which processes need documentation and formalization. As a stretch task, you will design a control mechanism to manage changes effectively. Your main responsibilities will be:

  • Analyzing current processes and identifying gaps in documentation
  • Prioritizing processes based on impact and urgency
  • Creating clear and standardized documentation for selected processes
  • Developing guidelines to ensure consistency and compliance

This is a bachelor (thesis or non-thesis) internship for a minimum of 6 months, at least 3 days per week (1-2 days on-site). The start date of this internship is February 2026.

Your profile

To be suitable for the internship, you:

  • Have a background in engineering
  • Enjoy solving practical problems within an engineering environment
  • Communicate clearly and collaborate effectively with diverse teams
  • Pay attention to detail and can create structured documentation
  • Possess great communication skills in English, both written and verbal

Other requirements you need to meet:

  • You are enrolled at an educational institute for the entire duration of the internship
  • You need to be located in the Netherlands to be able to perform your internship. If you are currently living/studying outside of the Netherlands, your CV/motivation letter should include your willingness to relocate
  • If you are a non-EU citizen studying in the Netherlands, your university must be willing to sign the documents relevant for doing an internship (i.e., Nuffic agreement)
