To support our growth, we’re seeking a proactive and driven Customer Onboarding Manager to join our Acquisition team and be instrumental in expanding our presence in the UK, US, DACH region and Benelux market.

About the role

In this role, you’ll own one of the most critical parts of our customer journey — onboarding. You’re not just executing playbooks; you’re building them. You’ll translate sales wins into successful, long-term partnerships by designing and running onboarding experiences that deliver measurable impact fast.
As a crucial part in our Acquisition Team, you will work closely together with our Sales Reps and Sales Lead to drive the new business growth of our companies.You will own your own domain, working on all medium to enterprise size deals and help them to maximise their success and seamlessly adopt our platform into their hiring operations. Your key objective is to guide our customers through a proof of concept, actively contributing to our customer retention and eventually handing the accounts over to our Customer Success Team.

Beyond execution of your day-to-day, you will be in charge of constantly reviewing and optimising processes. Playing a key role in bringing valuable customer insights and feedback to our product team, and contributing to shaping our roadmap.
Furthermore, you’ll contribute to a dynamic team, sharing knowledge, improving new-business processes, and elevating customer engagement.

Critical results

  • Onboarding time: Maintaining an average ‘time-to-onboard’ of <21 days
  • Time to value: Drive strategic collaboration, set realistic and ambitious goals with our customers to showcase the value of our solution.
  • Revenue & margin contribution: Contribute directly to company revenue and growth objectives by executing the commercial aspects of the role.
  • Retention: You’re a key stakeholder in retaining our customers, keeping our retention rate at +90%.

Jobs to be done

From account creation to building strategic plans and setting our customers up for growth momentum. This is a highly dynamic role, where you will focus on areas like:

  • Account Management: Own your book of business throughout the Proof of Concept phase, guiding customers strategically and ensuring fast, measurable value. This role does not stop at onboarding a customer, your responsibility is to guide our customers through the Proof of Concept and set them up for success.
  • Educate your book of business: Bring knowledge to your customer base, educating them on how to effectively utilise our solutions and social media to transform their hiring strategy.
  • Be the connector: Act as the bridge between our customers and internal teams — translating business needs into scalable solutions and driving alignment between Sales, Product, and Customer Success.
  • Translate problems into solutions: Navigate yourself through recurring, as well as complex, customer challenges. A solution focused mindset is key in this role.
  • Translate data into insights: Leverage campaign and performance data into actionable insights to enable both our customers and the team. You’re safeguarding the joint business cases and your work ensures that every customer sees tangible value fast, turning onboarding into a growth moment, not a handover.

What are we looking for?

We’re looking for a medior Customer Onboarding Manager with at least 2 years of experience in a similar role, ideally at a SaaS organisation. In order to flourish in the role and within Wonderkind, we’re looking for the following competencies:
