Your role in our shared journey

Located at our EMEA headquarters in Hoofddorp, near Amsterdam, you'll contribute to our mission by driving financial excellence and strategic planning across the EMEA and OT regions. As FP&A Manager - Business Control, you'll ensure robust financial planning processes, deliver insightful business performance analysis, and provide critical input on long-term strategies whilst managing P&L reporting across product categories, channels, and customers to support informed decision-making at the highest level.

Your role will be instrumental in weaving the fabric of our movement, bringing unique perspectives and driving innovation with every step. 

Your key responsibilities will be:

• Ensure accurate and timely submission of Mid-Term Plans for ASICS EMEA and OT, whilst maintaining SG&A planning responsibility for ASICS AEG.
• Conduct regular monthly business reviews to monitor and assess overall business performance.
• Analyse Product Category, Channel, Sub-channel and Customer P&L statements covering actuals, financial plans and forecasts.
• Support cost allocation corrections and drive system improvements to ensure accurate P&L reporting across the organisation.
• Manage FP&A Controller activities and provide backup support during team members' absences to ensure continuity.
• Provide ongoing feedback and strategic input on long-term business strategies and company KPIs to senior leadership.

You have the following skills:

• Bachelor or Master's degree in Finance, Business Administration or Accountancy.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in accounting or controlling roles.
• Financial planning and forecasting expertise, including long-term strategic planning.
• Experience in a FMCG/Sporting goods/Wholesale/Retail environment is a plus.
• Experience in financial plan and forecast processes and long term forecasting, preferably in an international business.
• Proficiency in SAP systems, particularly SAP BI and SAP Analytics Cloud Reporting.
• Proactive and detail-oriented professional with strong ownership and ability to manage tasks and timelines effectively.
• Excellent communication abilities to convey financial concepts to non-financial audiences.
