Are you a motivated student with an interest in financial reporting, SAP tools, and compliance standards? Join the Finance Process Excellence team at dsm-firmenich for an internship where you will support the deployment of new analysis and reporting systems and contribute to the implementation of the IFRS18 reporting directive. This is your opportunity to gain hands-on experience in testing, documentation, and training for Financial Reporting systems, while learning how global organizations adapt to new financial reporting standards.

What You’ll Do

During your internship, you will assist with the deployment of Analysis for Office, by supporting the development, testing, documenting, and delivering training of new financial reporting solutions. You will also evaluate the current Profit and Loss set-up and make proposals to improve alignment with IFRS18 requirements. Your work will help ensure accurate reporting, compliance with new standards, improve financial visibility to senior stakeholders and a smooth adoption of tools and processes across the organization.

Key Achievements

  • By the end of this internship, you will have supported the rollout of the Financial Reporting tools (SAP’s Analysis for Office) and contributed to the initial deployment of the IFRS18 reporting directive, helping streamline reporting processes and ensure compliance of new standards.

  • Eligibility criteria and conditions:
  • Language requirements: Fluent in English
  • Final Selection Day: 12.01.2026 in dsm-firmenich office in Maastricht
  • Start of the internship: 02.02.2026
  • Duration: 5 months
  • Studies: Preferably in the last year and currently enrolled at a Dutch university or applied science university (hogeschool). Your university will cosign the internship agreement
  • Location: dsm-firmenich Maastricht office
  • Compensation: Internship salary is €550 per month.
