The Vacancy

Procurement Excellence Process Manager

Lead the design, standardization, and continuous improvement of our global procurement process. Working across GKN Aerospace, you will play a pivotal role in transforming how we buy, collaborate, and create value – leveraging digital procurement technology, robust process governance, and effective cross-functional partnerships. This role is highly strategic, globally visible, and ideal for a procurement professional with deep process expertise, strong analytical capability, and the ability to influence senior stakeholders within a matrix manufacturing organization. The scope includes end-to-end procurement information flow from customer demand through to supplier performance, covering Intake-to-Source, Source-to-Contract, Procure-to-Pay, and Procurement Risk Management.

What You'll Do

  • Develop business cases and lead functional process design for global procurement initiatives, including pre-RFP requirements for new digital procurement technologies and improvements to existing processes, systems, and reporting.
  • Shape the architecture of global procurement solutions, taking a functional lead role in major global procurement development projects.
  • Drive cross-functional collaboration across global procurement teams to promote process excellence, shared best practice, and standardization.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to internal stakeholders, supporting alignment between procurement objectives and wider business needs.
  • Enable global standardization and deployment of procurement processes and systems, ensuring solutions are architecturally sound and consistently applied across the organization.
  • Introduce and embed digital procurement best practices, championing continuous improvement and modern, efficient ways of working.
  • Lead assigned projects end-to-end, including planning, budgeting, delivery management, and performance tracking.

What You'll Bring

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Procurement or Supply Chain Management, ideally within a complex, multi-site environment.
  • Deep expertise in core procurement processes, including Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Source-to-Contact (S2C), Supplier Performance & Risk Management, and compliance frameworks.
  • Strong analytical capability with a clear interest in process design, systems, and data-driven decision-making.
  • Ability to challenge the status quo, identify benefits and opportunities.
  • Strong cross-functional acumen, with a clear understanding of how procurement interfaces with other functions (e.g. finance, operations, engineering).
  • Ability to navigate cross-functional dependencies and to align procurement process improvements with business line goals and enterprise-wide priorities.
  • Experienced facilitator, comfortable in leading workshops, training sessions, and engagements with internal and external partners.
  • Hands-on, adaptable, and comfortable operating in ambiguity, keeping momentum in a fast-changing and highly regulated environment.
  • Energetic, collaborative, able to effectively lead or contribute to cross-functional teams.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a growth mindset, willing to stretch beyond comfort zones, try new approaches, and focus on delivering outcomes over activity.

What We'll Offer

  • Innovative and international environment in a high tech organization with a rich history in the field of aircraft manufacturing.
  • Our organization exudes a passion for technology and our employees are rightly proud of what they develop and build.
  • Competitive salary (grade F of WTW) depending on working experience and expertise.
  • Eligible for bonus scheme.
  • Attractive pension plan from PME.
  • 30 holidays.
  • Informal atmosphere in a dynamic and ambitious department.
  • Unique opportunity to work for a market leader in the aerospace manufacturing industry.

You really have the impact on our mission in the Aerospace industry to be the most trusted and sustainable partner in the sky.
