About the role:

Do you have an analytical mindset? Are you a proactive problem-solver who is driven by numbers and tools to create actionable consumer insights and corrective actions? Are you driven by exploring new ideas, bringing them to life, and making real impact in an ecommerce team? Then we are looking for you! In this role, you have an opportunity to be part of a dedicated Ecommerce Owned.Com team, responsible for driving and supporting our team in planning, market analysis, and business performance tracking. This role is ideal for a student to gain hands-on experience in commercial strategy, sales forecasting, and financial analysis. You will work closely with the team daily to improve our conversion rate across all our different ecommerce channels. Alongside the conversion rate, you are responsible for helping the team by providing actionable insights on major KPIs such as traffic, average order value, and sales.

The impact you’ll make:

  • Analyse sales data across digital touch points to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
  • Project manage and assist in preparing financial reports, budgets, and business performance dashboards, as well as handle data requests from the team such as Promo Target planning, Performance retrospectives, Weekly data report outs (DMB), District-wise Performance review, and Gap analysis.
  • Assist in tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) and preparing insights for business decisions.
  • Work closely with sales, marketing, and finance teams to ensure alignment in commercial strategies.
  • Contribute to pricing analysis and profitability assessments to drive strong IGM%.

The skills and knowledge you’ll bring:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to write and speak effectively in English.
  • Strong analytical skills: proficient with Excel; experience with SAP Analytics, PowerBI, and Google Analytics is a plus.
  • Digital savvy: proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and knowledge of digital marketing (SEO, SEA, Social Media, Web Analytics, Tag Management).
  • Curious mindset, positive and proactive approach.
  • Team player with the ability to work autonomously.
  • Passionate about contributing innovative ideas and cooperating with different levels of the organization (local and international).
  • Previous experience with ecommerce analytics is considered a plus.
  • Detail- and results-oriented.

Important:

Please note that in order to be considered for an internship, you need to be registered as a student during the entire internship period. Formal documentation may be requested at any time. Students from outside the EU need to fill in an NUFFIC agreement, which must be signed by the student and the university. The contents of our regular internship assignments are not suitable for professionals (and/or MBA students) with professional work experience.
