Introductie

At TenneT, we seek professionals who contribute to the future of our energy grid. We expect you to bring the right experience and skills to make a valuable impact on our team and mission. What do you bring?

Jouw rol

As a Strategic Planner, you will play a key role in shaping the direction and success of our organization and in the 2GW Program within the Hitachi portfolio, supporting the realization of large-scale infrastructure projects.

You will be responsible for developing, implementing, and evaluating strategies that drive business growth and operational efficiency.

You will be responsible for reviewing and integrating schedules from contractual partners, coordinating interfaces, evaluating delays, supporting claim dossiers, and developing a portfolio approach for internal planning in collaboration with other project teams.

  • Programme assessment & progress monitoring: You review and assess Contractors’ Programmes to ensure alignment with contractual requirements and project goals. You monitor project progress, perform deviation analyses, and support mitigation strategies in close collaboration with the project team.
  • Deviation analysis & forecasting: You evaluate reported deviations and assess their impact on both the Programme and the Portfolio. You forecast potential shifts and evaluate their implications for project-specific delivery dates.
  • Claims & reporting: You support claim defence dossiers by providing schedule-related insights and documentation. You deliver regular reporting on scheduling status, including relevant KPIs and scenario analyses.
  • Stakeholder coordination & planning support: You act as the point of contact for planning-related questions and requests between Contractors and the project team, ensuring smooth communication and alignment.
  • Tool development & data visualization: You support the implementation and visualization of schedule data sets using Microsoft Office tools such as Excel and Power BI. You also contribute to the development and improvement of project scheduling and control tools.
  • Strategic planning & risk integration: You deliver strategic analysis through clear reports and narratives that support executive decision-making and prevent scope or schedule shifts. You assist risk managers with risk-based planning revisions and integrate schedule data into project risk registers, contributing to the Scheduling Maturity Model (SMM) within the organization.
  • Analyze market trends and data to identify opportunities and threats.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop actionable plans.
  • Monitor progress and adjust strategies as needed to achieve objectives.
  • Prepare reports and presentations for senior management.
  • Support decision-making with clear, data-driven insights.
