Join our System Integration & Configuration Management team in Veldhoven and help automate engineering workflows. As an intern, you'll modernize internal tools, improve data quality, and automate compliance checks. You'll work within the Metrology cluster, which ensures stable lithography performance in chip manufacturing. System integration connects project teams to deliver high-quality products, and configuration management is key to successful integration and timely delivery. This internship focuses on replacing manual routines with smart, Python-based solutions. You'll contribute to real improvements in high-tech system development.

Your assignment

  • Migrate legacy scripts to Python for improved maintainability and reporting.
  • Detect hidden configuration parameters and enhance compliance coverage.
  • Automate post-test workflows and publish results centrally.
  • Normalize configuration data and eliminate duplication.
  • Integrate with internal systems for ticket creation and stakeholder follow-up.
  • Centralize reporting for better visibility and traceability.

Your profile

To be a match for this internship, you:

  • Are pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Have experience with Python, Git, and scripting on Windows.
  • Are familiar with data parsing (XML/CSV) and basic CI/CD concepts.
  • Have strong programming, data (JSON, Excel, HTML), and problem-solving skills.
  • Have an interest in automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Playwright).
  • Possess clear communication skills (in English), a collaborative mindset, and are pro-active.

Other requirements you need to meet:

  • You are enrolled at an educational institute for the entire duration of the internship.
  • Attach your cover letter with a clear motivation explaining why you are interested in this internship assignment in particular.
  • You need to be located in the Netherlands to perform your internship. If you are currently living/studying outside of the Netherlands, your CV/motivation letter should include your willingness to relocate.
  • If you are a non-EU citizen studying in the Netherlands, your university must be willing to sign the documents relevant for doing an internship (i.e., Nuffic agreement).
