Topic: Create a deployable version of the Toolbox TestFramework (TBTF)

About the Project

  • The Co-Creation team develops specialized high-end MRI scanners for research customers.
  • Toolbox TestFramework (TBTF) is an internal diagnostic test framework built with Ruby.
  • TBTF automates diagnostic test executions and data analysis.
  • TBTF is used on 7 Tesla MRI scanners, installed at select research institutions worldwide.
  • Goal: Make TBTF easy to deploy, version-controlled, and secure for research customers.
  • Extend TBTF to generate standardized diagnostic data points for automated data collection.

Your Role

  • Engage with stakeholders to define requirements.
  • Explore TBTF structure and set up a secure GitHub repository.
  • Develop a deployable installer for TBTF.
  • Implement versioning and integrity checks for deploying TBTF in the field.
  • Test deployment on in-house systems simulating research environments and on research customer systems (e.g., Utrecht/UMCU or Leiden/LUMC).
  • Extend TBTF to export data points via a standardized interface.
  • Assist in analyzing collected diagnostic data.
  • Document all findings and implementation details in a graduation report.

What We’re Looking For

  • Profile: Final-year HBO student in Software Engineering.
  • Interests: Scripting, version control, GitHub, real-world diagnostic applications.
  • Duration: ~6 months (Graduation Internship).
