Position Summary

As SCM Coordinator you will be part of the SCP Display department located in Delft. This role supports multiple sales subsidiaries in their supply of displays distributed from the Centralized Warehouses located in Tilburg (NL) and Slovakia (SK). SELS is the Central European logistics organization of Samsung Electronics, which functions as a logistics and financial control tower within SEC Europe, with a focused role in logistics and supply chain strategy, innovation and monitoring. SELS has approximately 100 employees divided over various departments and locations within the Netherlands (Delft, Breda and Tilburg).

Role and Responsibilities

  • Sales Support
    • Process the sales orders (SO) from sales subsidiaries and ensure timely delivery to customers.
    • Support with monitoring weekly and monthly sales progress.
    • Act as a main point of contact for subsidiaries, logistic planners, partners and internal teams regarding order and delivery inquiries and SCM requests (order and delivery status, track and trace, pricing, allocation, new product, logistics, configurations, special shipments, stock availability etc.).
    • Troubleshoot challenges and resolve issues within the supply chain, such as delays and shipping inefficiencies.
    • Escalate critical supply or delivery issues to management with root cause analysis and recommended solutions.
    • Ensure logistics service providers meet requirements by analyzing logistics performance and customer needs across European subsidiaries.
  • Change management
    • Guide and drive sales subsidiaries with newly implemented projects or processes, monitor progress on a regular basis and report to head of department.
    • Frequent communication with sales subsidiaries SCM members in order to achieve given targets or projects to be completed within timeline.
  • Reporting and improvement
    • Analyze data and set up relevant reports in order to manage responsibilities and inform management.
    • Analyze forecasts, orders and relevant data in order to create improvements to processes and procedures.
    • Analyze on time delivery performance and outbound lead time from factory and propose innovations/improvements.
  • Projects and Process innovation
    • Propose process improvements and implement approved proposals in order to increase efficiency, effectiveness, and process quality.
    • Coordinate and execute improvement projects in order to enhance value added activities, procedures and systems.
    • Support specific product Taskforce to improve service.

Skills and Qualifications

  • A Bachelor/Master degree related to Logistics or SCM.
  • 1 – 3 years working experience.
  • Fluent in English, Dutch is a plus.
  • Excellent MS Office skills (Excel experience is a must).
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Pro-active mentality and hard-working attitude.
  • Able to set priorities.
  • Analytical skills.
  • Experience with ERP systems is preferred.
