In a subscription business, maintaining and forecasting the ARR base is crucial to creating sustainable growth. Timely and correctly renewing subscriptions is the heartbeat of our organization and is managed via the renewal process. As a Renewals Manager, you will manage a diverse portfolio of customer and partner subscriptions in the EMEA region. Together with the rest of the renewals management team and other stakeholders such as Legal, Finance, Customer Success, Sales, and CS Opps, you will ensure renewals are closed on time and risk/expansion is forecasted accurately. You will assist the CS organization in projects that impact renewals, such as contract rationalization, indexation, and deprecation of products. Because the volume of subscriptions is large and growing double-digit year over year, you need to work in a structured, data-driven way and be keen on finding efficiencies.

Responsibilities

  • Independently guide customer renewals that are part of your portfolio through the renewal process.
  • Effectively explain and justify price increases and any changes to customer agreements.
  • Assist commercial and partner customer success in processing renewals through the last stages of the process.
  • Assist regional expansion projects like indexation and contract rationalization.
  • Ensure Legal entity or reseller changes are processed correctly by our organization.
  • Assist in quoting and delivery of cloud upgrades from customers within the EMEA region, working towards a self-service approach.
  • Monitor that new orders are delivered and/or cancellations are offboarded according to license agreements.

Requirements

  • Able to work on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variables.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and in-person and virtual presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and to collaborate effectively across functions.
  • Good understanding of subscription-based renewals models.
  • Excellent attention to detail together with good organization skills.
  • Desire to improve processes and work through ambiguity.
  • Strong numeracy skills, including intermediate or better familiarity with Microsoft Excel.
  • Salesforce knowledge.
  • Fluent in English and preferably Dutch.
