Activation Manager [Maternity Cover]

We are one of the fastest-growing podcast & audiobook platforms in Europe and we are now looking for a temporary Activation Manager in the Netherlands to focus on activating our great content.

This is the role

At Podimo we are looking for a passionate Activation Manager for our Dutch team, to build emotional relevance for our podcasts & brand, by activating content to bring in new audiences and creators.

You love podcasts/entertainment and storytelling through content and know how to identify ‘the right hooks’ to engage an audience.

You will report to the Head of Marketing. In your day-to-day you will work across functions within the local Dutch team, as well as having strong ties to your counterparts in Denmark, Spain, Norway, Finland, and Germany.

You are also a person who thrives in a dynamic, creative work environment and who would love to be part of a start-up that is rapidly expanding all over Europe ... and soon beyond!

Your main responsibilities in this role:

• Create, manage and guide the releases of different podcasts: from launch strategy to (re) activation in close collaboration with creators and different Podimo departments.
• Creatively leverage content to spark conversations that will engage and bring in new users and creators to our platform.
• Build relationships with our creators supporting them in promotion of their podcast and reaching the right audience.
• Coordination and execution of promotional campaigns for the Dutch market
• Coordinate and align across key stakeholders - both internal and external
• Contribute to the global strategy to shape and improve our in-app community features to drive stronger user engagement from a local perspective.
• Identify the different audiences relevant to Podimo and find ways to interact with them
• Work across functions in the Dutch market within Podimo to inform and optimize the rollout in all channels

• You are an outgoing/extrovert Dutch native and can speak and write English fluently
• You are a creative marketing manager who loves structure and planning
• You are a team player with a positive spirit, proactive approach, and selfless mindset.
• You can use data and consumer insights to inform strategy, success metrics and decision-making
• You love storytelling and know all relevant marketing channels.
• You are curious about finding creative ways to engage and create content focussed assets that can spark conversations
• You should be open to working across functions and countries with an understanding of the importance of proactive information-sharing
• You are a natural relationship builder between stakeholders from different functions and cultures

Naturally, being passionate and knowledgeable about podcasts, audio content, media, and entertainment is a big plus!
