About this role

Just Eat is expanding its services every day, offering customers not only food from their favourite restaurants but also everyday groceries from local supermarkets, convenience and retail stores. With rapid growth in grocery and new business delivery, this is a key opportunity for Just Eat to disrupt the market and win customers, partners and loyalty to put us ahead of our competitors.

This role will lead the Analytics and AI development for Partner Growth and New Verticals, leveraging data science and AI in the field of Groceries and new business categories. You will work closely with leadership in Sales, Groceries, and Product, creating joint plans to improve our apps and new business offering. You'll work on our biggest ambitions, delivering advanced data solutions, collaborating with multiple teams across business, product, and tech to deliver high-end data solutions.

These are some of the key components to the position:

  • Collaborate with Senior Grocery, Sales, and Product leadership to define a data product roadmap that supports the growth of Just Eat Takeaway’s grocery and new business offerings.
  • Build a deep understanding of New Verticals and Partner Growth, identifying opportunities to enhance performance through data-driven insights.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing team of analysts, data scientists, and data engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Act as the main point of contact for partner growth and new business matters within the DNA Hub, overseeing multiple cross-functional projects.
  • Identify and drive data product initiatives that improve partner estate quality and order growth across markets.
  • Develop and nurture a community of data professionals, promoting collaboration and knowledge sharing.
  • Oversee the delivery and technical quality of data projects, ensuring high standards of performance, security, and reliability.
  • Manage global KPIs and reporting, providing stakeholders with strategic insights to guide decision-making.

What will you bring to the team?

  • Extensive experience in Data Analytics and AI, with a strong track record of leading and managing Data Analytics & Engineering teams at a strategic level.
  • Business acumen; able to translate complex technical insights into impactful business decisions.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, collaborating effectively across senior leadership and diverse teams.
  • Proven ability to lead complex, high-impact projects, balancing priorities, resources, and timelines in fast-paced environments.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and a focus on delivering measurable outcomes.
  • Advanced SQL skills and experience with relational databases; familiarity with dbt and Python is highly desirable.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (preferably GCP) and modern data infrastructure.
  • A proactive, results-driven mindset — adaptable, collaborative, and motivated to test, learn, and deliver at scale.
