As a Logistics Team Leader, you will lead the Logistics Team Leaders in managing, operating, and controlling all physical flows to, within, and from the site(s). You will be responsible for managing the teams and ensuring the effectiveness of processes such as receiving operations, transport organising and planning, warehouse operations, management of physical inventory, internal logistics, and outbound operations. You will ensure that the Logistics team executes activities in compliance with site, national, and international regulations where applicable, and that a safe working environment is maintained. The team is managed based on Employee Involvement principles.

You will manage the workload of the area (receiving, shipping, internal movements, warehouse) and optimise the allocated resources. You will define and set up the physical organisation of warehouses within the site(s), organise and control the internal transportation of material to assure the best service level and cost, and act as the interface between supply chain and production at shop floor level, ensuring material movement is in accordance with operational expectations.

In this role, you will develop and optimise all physical and information flows using Lean principles, including company-owned external warehouses. You will manage and control the transactional flow for all physical flows, ensure actual inventory accuracy and reliability (such as FIFO and cycle counting), and oversee all logistics processes in adherence to regulatory frameworks, especially with regard to international trade and compliance. You will also manage inbound and outbound freight with external providers, suppliers, and customers.
