As part of JBT Marel Global Logistics, we're seeking a dedicated Associate Logistics Specialist to support procurement, manage global shipping tasks, and ensure on-time delivery of spare parts and equipment. If you're passionate about logistics and driven by performance, this role offers the perfect opportunity to make an impact.

Your Responsibilities

In this role, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing shipping operations:

  • Support procurement on inbound supplies from external suppliers.
  • Manage global shipping tasks for green field projects in alignment with Sales Engineers.
  • Secure on-time delivery of spare parts to end-customers globally.
  • Ensure end-to-end delivery performance for both spare parts and equipment.
  • Utilize global logistics standards and best practices from freight quotation to on-site delivery.
  • Handle exceptions related to sales order deliveries and implement corrective actions.
  • Support the Logistics Supervisors on various projects.

Your Background

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years as a Logistics Planner or Coordinator.
  • Fluent in English, both verbal and written.
  • Experience in a multicultural, multi-discipline organization.
  • Functional knowledge of global trade control regulations and EU regulations.
  • Expertise in compliance risk analysis and customs issue resolution.
  • Experience with ERP systems, SAP is an advantage.
