Introduction

The Customer Support EUV Service Cost team plays a key role in enabling our global field service teams to achieve Cost of Service targets. We set targets, develop roadmaps, and drive actions to reduce service costs across the organization. As part of this mission, we are transforming into a data-driven organization, where reporting is streamlined, standardized, and automated. This internship offers a unique opportunity to contribute to that transformation, working on real-world automation and cost optimization projects within a high-tech environment managing over €1 billion in business operations.

Your assignment

You will support the EUV Service Cost team in automating and optimizing KPI reporting processes. Key deliverables include:

  • Analyze existing workflows and identify manual tasks suitable for automation.
  • Develop scripts to automate data gathering and processing.
  • Enhance Spotfire dashboards with automated data pipelines.
  • Document solutions and provide guidance for usage and maintenance.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to align reporting standards and definitions.

Your profile

To be a perfect fit for this assignment, you:

  • Are currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Have experience with dashboarding tools such as Spotfire or Power BI.
  • Possess affinity with programming (Python is a plus).
  • Have strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Communicate effectively and enjoy working in a collaborative environment.

This is a (thesis) internship with a minimum duration of six months, full-time (40 hours per week), including at least three days on-site in Veldhoven. The internship is set to start in February 2026. Thesis assignments are welcomed and supported.

Other requirements you need to meet

  • You are enrolled at an educational institute for the entire duration of the internship.
  • You need to be located in the Netherlands to be able to perform your internship. If you are currently living or studying outside of the Netherlands, your CV/motivation letter should include the willingness to relocate.
  • If you are a non-EU citizen studying in the Netherlands, your university must be willing to sign the documents relevant for doing an internship (i.e., Nuffic agreement).

This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the United States Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. § 730, et seq.). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work. Business demands may require ASML to proceed with candidates who are immediately eligible to access controlled technology.
