We are thrilled to share that we are looking for a high-calibre undergraduate student to join our EMEA Leadership & Talent Development team as a Strategic Data Analysis intern based in our Amsterdam Area office at Hilton Amsterdam Airport Schiphol. During this internship, you will assist in all data analysis and coordinating tasks around the Talent Management processes and storytelling of talent data. This is an ideal opportunity for someone looking for a final year university placement who is interested in pursuing a career in Human Resources or Data Analysis.

The Opportunity

This internship offers a unique chance to work at the heart of Hilton’s EMEA Leadership & Talent Development team, where data meets strategy and storytelling drives impact. As our Strategic Data Analysis intern, you’ll play a key role in shaping how we understand and communicate talent trends across our hotels, contributing to meaningful projects that influence leadership decisions and development programs.

More specific tasks include:

  • Collaborating with hotels across EMEA to gather and interpret talent data.
  • Analysing programme outcomes including satisfaction, promotions, and ROI metrics.
  • Creating compelling visual insights using Excel and Power BI dashboards.
  • Supporting online development centre exercises alongside hotel General Managers (GMs).
  • Being the go-to contact for data analysis and comparisons within the Talent team.
  • Ensuring talent data remains accurate, up-to-date, and accessible.
  • Preparing materials for monthly GM resourcing calls and regional presentations.
  • Transforming leadership and talent data into engaging infographics and reports.
  • Tracking progress against business and talent goals, helping adjust strategies.
  • Contributing to high-impact projects like the GM Academy and Chef Inclusion initiatives.
  • Helping centralise communication and maintain Talent Management resources on SharePoint.
  • Assisting with e-learning administration and feedback analysis via Hilton University.
  • Creating engaging newsletters and editing videos to support internal communications.
