We are thrilled to share that we are looking for two high-calibre undergraduate students to join our Talent and Leadership Development department on a 10–12-month internship, based in our Amsterdam Area office at Hilton Amsterdam Airport Schiphol. This is an ideal opportunity for someone looking for a final year university placement who is interested in pursuing a career in Learning & Development, HR, or Data Analysis.

The Opportunity

This internship is a fantastic opportunity to be part of Hilton’s EMEA Leadership & Talent Development team. As a Leadership & Talent Development intern, you will get the chance to explore the intersection of HR, data, and leadership development in a global hospitality environment. You’ll be empowered to contribute, learn, and grow—while helping shape the future of talent at Hilton.

More specific tasks will include:

  • Supporting our mission to create an inclusive, high-performing workplace through leadership development for all.
  • Coordinating online Harvard Leadership Programmes and even facilitating sessions if you're interested.
  • Helping manage development programmes such as Lead@Hilton, Shine, Elevator, and e-learning platforms like Harvard ManageMentor.
  • Acting as a key contact for HR and Training Managers across EMEA, providing support on Talent Management and Learning & Development queries.
  • Contributing to planning and execution of future leadership programmes and learning strategies.
  • Getting involved in high-impact EMEA projects like the GM Academy and Hilton Chefs Inclusion Program.
  • Collaborating with a diverse, international team across multiple countries.
  • Analysing feedback from programme participants to help improve future initiatives.
  • Assisting in gathering and analysing talent data to ensure accuracy and relevance.
  • Creating visual insights and infographics from leadership development data, including league tables.
  • Leading communication efforts through newsletters and intranet updates.
  • Taking ownership of departmental invoicing and cross-charging processes.
  • Working with tools like Excel to create graphs and insights as well as working with Power BI, and Hilton’s Learning Management System.
  • Undertaking a study-related project aligned with your academic requirements.
  • Tracking data progress of hotels against all business and talent goals throughout the year and adjusting strategy accordingly.

In addition, we are looking for one of the successful candidates to have an interest or experience with data analytics, as this role will include the following responsibilities:

  • Preferred: Working with PowerBI to create visual dashboards.
  • Utilising tools to lead periodic data evaluation.

Why choose us?

Learning and Development: Placement students have access to online learning and in-person workshops to enhance their skills and contribute meaningfully to ongoing projects.

Networking: Our programme offers our interns the chance to connect with professionals in their chosen industry, paving the way for valuable relationships.

Feedback and Growth: Regular evaluations and feedback sessions will ensure our interns receive guidance and an opportunity to continually improve.

Hilton Perks: Including our Go Hilton TM Travel Program, which provides you with access to heavily reduced hotel room rates for you, your family & friends.

What are we looking for?

  • First and foremost, Hilton is a hospitality company, and we are looking for individuals with a strong sense of alignment with our culture and values.
  • Must be studying in the Netherlands towards a Bachelor's Degree with an internship as part of your course curriculum.
  • Eligibility to work in the Netherlands for the full duration of the internship.
  • Must be fluent in English (speaking, reading and writing).
  • Must be available to start in February 2026, for a minimum of 10 months (earlier start can be discussed).
