We are looking for a proactive and technically-minded Data Steward & AI Enablement Specialist (m/f/d) to unlock the full potential of our data and empower teams across the organization to use AI responsibly and effectively. In this hybrid role, you will ensure our data is well-managed, discoverable, and trustworthy while helping colleagues build their own AI-powered tools and agents. You will collaborate closely with scientists, analysts, and engineers to promote best practices in data management and support the adoption of AI tools for research, operations, and decision-making.

As part of our growing Data Team at HUB Organoids, you will work with cutting-edge organoid data and support client projects. This unique opportunity allows you to work in a scale-up environment, collaborate across functions, and have a real impact on how biological data is used and understood. Your expertise in FAIR principles and data governance will be crucial as you guide and support data organization and compliance efforts. Additionally, you will educate teams on best practices for using generative AI tools and assist non-technical users in building lightweight AI agents. Who You Are:

  • You hold a PhD in Biology, Bioinformatics, or a related field, or an MSc with 3+ years of hands-on experience.
  • You possess a strong understanding of data management principles, including FAIR, GxP, and data quality.
  • You are familiar with AI tools and frameworks, such as OpenAI and Copilot.
  • You have a keen eye for detail and strong analytical and project management skills.
  • You can communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical audiences.
  • Experience with dashboard creation (e.g., Tableau, PowerBI) is advantageous but not strictly necessary.
  • Familiarity with organoid or tissue model data and software development processes is a strong advantage.
  • You thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with evolving priorities.
