At TomTom, you are in a unique position to advance and impact the future of autonomous driving. Orbis Platform is at the heart of TomTom’s transformation in map creation and delivery. The platform hosts and integrates diverse data sources, enabling the creation of fresh, accurate, and customizable maps for both internal and external customers. Our mission is to deliver high-quality, configurable map products efficiently, supporting a wide range of customer needs from incremental updates to full releases, while ensuring compliance and transparency.

What you'll do

  • Product Vision & Strategy: Define and drive the vision, strategy, and roadmap for Orbis Platform Core Technologies, ensuring alignment with overall Maps objectives, our Living Maps Strategy and customer needs.
  • Customer Focus: Engage with key personas such as Value Stream staff engineers, engineering managers and Incremental map consumers to understand their requirements and translate them into product features and improvements.
  • Stakeholder Management: Collaborate closely with engineering managers, software engineers, and other product managers to deliver features that provide true business value.
  • Migration Strategies: Ensure clear communication and documentation of changes. Platform Core Technologies sit at the heart of all our map making processes, so any non-backwards compatible change requires a migration strategy.
  • Market Awareness: Maintain visibility on market trends, competitor offerings, and customer feedback to inform product direction.
