Accelerating end-to-end manufacturing processes for one of our flagship products!
Would you like to contribute to the development of a high-tech product that’s radically changing the world of printing? Would you like to get more involved with Lean Manufacturing and Continuous improvement? Then this might be the next step you are looking for!
We are right in the middle of one of the greatest periods of change in the world of printing. Developing and manufacturing products with new innovations and technologies allows people to print more customized with the reliability and quality of traditional mass print production. The complexity, speed of innovations, and time to market, in combination with lean manufacturing concepts, challenge you to improve and solve problems hardly ever encountered before.
You will successfully translate innovations and technologies created by our R&D pioneers in The Netherlands to successful and full-scale lean manufacturing operations at our production facilities. This involves implementing frequent and ongoing design changes in an existing assembly line. In an early phase of development, you are in close contact with R&D to implement Design for Assembly solutions and to incorporate Optimal Assembly Sequence and Superconcurrent Engineering as early as possible in the design of the new engines.
Your inspiring personality and strong communication skills enable you to build and maintain relationships with your counterparts at the innovation centers, and you liaise and engage with counterparts at the supply center in Germany as well. As a subject matter expert, you ensure we grow and enhance our agile approach for capital goods by advancing Lean Manufacturing improvements throughout the full value chain. Effective and efficient manufacturing methods and processes are crucial in your operation, resulting in cost-effective and accelerated production at our supply centers.
Furthermore, you will use your strong analytical skills and pragmatic process mindset to identify and implement improvement opportunities in current assembly lines, ensuring outstanding product quality, optimal flow, short assembly lead times, mixed model production concepts, and a short time to market.
