The Reckitt Production System (RPS) is a global transformation program that will touch all our people in the factories first, bringing TPM/WCM systems and practices. It is a challenging and at the same time exciting program, that has an incredibly high profile within our organization. Our central team is responsible for developing the systems for global deployment.

About the role

The purpose of this position is to develop content, tools and capabilities to guarantee a proper deployment of RPS across Reckitt, to support the fast expansion with high quality of execution, standardization and sustainability of RPS. You will support the global excellence team to ensure RPS effectiveness for performance improvement and value added for the business.

Your responsibilities

  • Responsible for the Global Reapplication System of proven processes and best practices, including publication of success stories and monthly highlights, and creation of RPS content, templates, and guidelines to facilitate the deployment and understanding of our Management System on a global scale.
  • Co-responsibility to align and develop training materials, playbooks, and global standards to ensure the global and regional team is ready to support factories in the next phases.
  • Align, design, and support the delivery of regional and global TPM/WCM trainings, facilitators workshops, train the trainers, internal auditors, coaches’ courses, senior leadership trainings, and support the development of e-learnings and new learning platforms.
  • Facilitate global or regional communities of practice, and provide overall guidance for skill matrixes and development plans of CI resources.
  • Work closely with global and regional functions such as Safety, Quality, Manufacturing, Engineering Capabilities, Digitalization, and Analytics teams to ensure alignment.
  • Prepare ad-hoc performance analysis, capabilities reports, benchmarks, executive sessions, and upward reporting.

The experience we're looking for

  • Engineering university degree
  • 10+ years in Manufacturing / Operations, including leading front-line teams and industrial engineering
  • Experience in FMCG Industry within a company that follows a structured approach such as TPM (e.g., P&G, Unilever, Kraft Heinz, Heineken, InBev, Nestle, etc.)
  • Desired experience in Consulting Companies like EY, McKinsey, Efeso, Capgemini, BCG, Falconi, Integration
  • Experience as a member of the leadership team

Technical Skills/Competencies

  • Proven experience in Production/Manufacturing Management Systems
  • Competence in leading Focused Improvement and problem solving
  • Data management experience for collecting, integrating, analyzing, and visualizing manufacturing data, including setting up automatic data collection systems
  • Experience providing coaching and training to shop floor leadership and operators
  • Experience in implementation of structured Loss Analysis, annual target setting, monthly glidepath, gap to target reviews, daily target setting, and daily operational reviews
  • Experience working in a global environment and with virtual teams
  • Actively seeks opportunities to shorten reporting times, improve reporting skills of the team, and enhance efficiency of applications, in collaboration with the Manufacturing Digitalization team
  • Excellent understanding of concepts such as Lean Production, Agile Production, Value Stream Mapping, KanBan, MOQ, Capacity, OEE planned and unplanned losses, Validated Product Speed, Vertical Start Up, Innovation, and New Assets Success Criteria

Managerial Skills/Competencies

  • Business judgment, analytical skills, and a forward-looking approach to prevent risks to plan
  • Proven leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills for transforming operations from reactive to preventive and proactive (e.g., from 60% OEE to 80% OEE by reducing losses)
  • Ability to influence key stakeholders across geographies and functions, including SC Directors and Factory leadership teams, to change and apply proven ways of working, based on strong collaboration and hands-on support to implement systems
  • Actively seeks opportunities to shorten reporting times, develop data management skills of the team, and improve adoption of applications and share points, in collaboration with the Manufacturing Digitalization team
  • Willingness to travel up to 30%
