Join Versuni as a Product Development & Product Lifecycle Management Process Expert
About the role:
As a Product Development & PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) Process Expert, you will drive excellence in product lifecycle management across Versuni’s innovation ecosystem. You’ll work with R&D, business units, and IT to streamline processes, align product data management, and ensure our PLM systems support innovation efficiently and effectively. You will analyze, refine, and implement best practices while enabling teams to succeed through training, clear guidelines, and continuous improvement initiatives.
PLM is both a strategy and a set of digital tools (like SAP PLM, Teamcenter, Windchill, etc.) used to manage the entire lifecycle of a product — from idea and concept development, through design and engineering, to manufacturing, service, and eventual phase-out.
The impact you’ll make:
- Drive efficiency by designing, implementing and improving product development processes and PLM workflows that are consistent, scalable, and compliant.
- Enable innovation by translating stakeholder needs into actionable system requirements and work packages for implementation partners.
- Foster collaboration by acting as the go-to expert for PLM-related updates, guidance, and issue resolution across teams.
- Empower teams through tailored training sessions that help users fully leverage PLM tools and best practices.
- Enhance decision-making by developing reporting features that provide accurate, timely insights into product and project data.
The skills and knowledge you’ll bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, technology or business.
- Proven hands-on experience in product development or lifecycle management, ideally within a manufacturing or technology-driven environment.
- Hands-on expertise with SAP PLM and other PLM tools.
- Strong understanding of product development methodologies and cross-functional collaboration, ideally with experience as a lead development engineer.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in an international environment.
- Proactive, organized and detail-oriented approach to tasks.
- Ability to translate technical needs into practical solutions and training materials.
- Analytical mindset with a passion for process improvement and digital transformation will be an asset.
