Your qualifications
- 6–8+ years of progressive finance experience, with at least management experience.
- Background in accounting or banking/investing, ideally combined with in-house finance or controlling experience.
- At least a Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; a post-master (e.g., RA/RC) or CFA is a strong plus
- Skilled in financial management: reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, and analysis.
- Experience in maintaining and optimizing financial systems and coordinating audits.
- Exposure to capital raising, financing, or investor relations is a plus (not strictly required).
- Entrepreneurial mindset: comfortable in a hands-on scale-up environment, while bringing structure and strategic insight.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across functions and influence stakeholders.
- Fluent in English; knowledge of Dutch, German, or French is a plus

Job description
Rostudios is seeking a highly driven Head of Finance to lead and professionalize our finance function during an exciting phase of growth. With 20+ new studios in the pipeline and a US launch on the horizon, this is a unique opportunity to join a fast-growing international fitness and lifestyle brand in a senior leadership role.
As Head of Finance, you will join the leadership team and be responsible for shaping financial strategy, ensuring robust financial operations, and supporting further expansion. You’ll also play a central role in capital raising, financing, and investor relations, while maintaining strong financial governance. The role can be based at our HQ in Amsterdam or within our small HQ team in Berlin.
For candidates interested, this position can also include HR leadership responsibilities, building on the combined scope of the predecessor.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee the finance function, ensuring accurate reporting, forecasting, and budgeting
- Be an active member of the Leadership Team, contributing to strategy and decision-making at company level
- Maintain and optimize financial systems, ensuring smooth day-to-day financial operations
- Oversee audits, statutory accounts, and compliance with regulatory and tax requirements
- Manage cash flow, liquidity, and risk analyses to support decision-making
- Drive capital raising and financing efforts (equity and debt) to enable growth and expansion
- Manage investor relations and maintain relationships with banks, private equity, and other stakeholders
- Supervise and develop the finance team, ensuring strong collaboration with external partners
