Sr. Product Specialist Adoption Architect at Databricks

You will be an essential part of this mission, using your technical expertise to demonstrate how our Data Intelligence Platform can help customers solve their complex data challenges.

As a Sr. Product Specialist Adoption Architect you will be a technical expert in how customers can be successful with developing analytical use-cases in the Lakehouse paradigm. You will work closely with the Product Management, Global Product Adoption and the EMEA Field Engineering and Sales teams to define and deliver the product line adoption strategy for Databricks EMEA. You will help to lay out the playbook, and drive focus and execution on GTM actions for product priorities. You will help define the delivery strategy and assets for product line adoption in EMEA. You will help triage product escalations and blockers and represent the field perspective on strategic decisions. You will work with field leaders to create a strategy to hit their product specific targets, identifying target accounts and create a community of Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) across the field to support these goals.

You will report directly to the Sr. Director Product Specialists Databricks Field Engineering and will be located in the UK, France, Germany or The Netherlands. Databricks Field Engineering works with our current and future customers to grow adoption, win technical validations and advise customers on Databricks best practices.

The impact you will have:

  • Work with EMEA Product Specialist leader and cross functional stakeholders to develop end to end Product Line Adoption strategy and operating model for EMEA
  • Working with sales and technical leaders drive adoption of Databricks Data Intelligence solutions across EMEA
  • Provide a strong, informed, and data-driven perspective in conversations with the Product and Engineering teams to influence our product strategy and priorities in how customers can and should bring Databricks into their Data strategies.
  • Create the strategy and definition of scalable, repeatable Product Programs.
  • Analyse, develop and translate field needs into requirements to deliver product line adoption acceleration through Product Strategy and Adoption team
  • Triage escalations and prioritize customer blockers to maximize field impact of product development.

What we look for:

  • Experience in designing and delivering cloud-based Data and AI Solutions in a customer environment
  • Proven trusted advisor to technical executives that drive strategic data decisions.
  • Demonstrated competence in the Lakehouse architecture including hands-on experience with Apache Spark, Python and SQL
  • Experience in pre-sales selling highly desired
  • Operationally minded and ability to design at a system level
  • Strong execution and ability to drive to outcomes in the face of ambiguity
  • Strong leadership skills - ability to coordinate with various roles across GTM, Field Engineering, Sales and R&D that contribute toward product line adoption.
