About this position
What you’ll do
- Develop and maintain global supply strategies and long-term supply plans (2-5 years) to enable profitable long-term business growth in close collaboration with our Global Production Network Heads
- Collect, validate, and challenge business strategies and related long-term demand projections from the Business Units, including market growth, innovation, and attrition in close collaboration with our SBU Demand Planners/Market Strategy Managers/Technology Managers and Global Production Network PMO Managers
- Collect, validate, and challenge capacity information from the Plant/Operations teams (type of work center, operating hours per KG of finished product, Operating Equipment Effectiveness) in close collaboration with our Supply Planning and Operations teams
- Convert demand projections into capacity requirements and identify constrained and underutilized work centers using our ETL tools
- Optimize interregional supply through balancing global vs regional supply
- Propose adjustments to supply strategies and identify CAPEX requirements and/or rationalization opportunities in close collaboration with our Global Production Network Heads and PMO Managers: make sure we invest/divest the right production resources
- Evaluate/validate any CAPEX requests from the Regional Operations teams as part of the annual budgeting cycle
- Create and lead Global Supply Reviews: quarterly/bi-annual cross-functional platform to review supply strategies and long-term supply strategies involving Business Units (Product/Technology Management) and Global/Regional Operations & Supply Chain
- Support Regional PMO Operations teams in network design studies and manufacturing footprint optimization projects triggered by the Global Supply Reviews
- Support Global Technology Managers in making the best use/allocation of raw materials and capacity in case of supply constraints
- Improve the process/tools for developing and maintaining supply strategies with other Supply Network Steering Managers.
What makes you a good fit
- 5-8 years of experience in supply chain management, preferably demand/supply planning, operations or product/technology management
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in relevant field, preferably supply chain management, operations research, (industrial) engineering, or applied mathematics
- Strong communication and change management skills
- Excellent team collaboration, organization, and time management
- Fluent in English
- Experience with SAP, MS Office, APO DP/SNP
- Proficient in data analytics and related tools.
