From a new office in Rotterdam, the Unox team will independently work on new ideas, products, and campaigns to make this iconic brand in the Netherlands grow rapidly again. In the marketing team of one of the largest and most beloved brands in the Netherlands, we now have a key role available for someone who enjoys entrepreneurship, broadening and developing their skills, and above all, taking action!
ABOUT UNOX AND THE ROLE
Unox is an 87-year-old savoury brand, an iconic market leader that is present in almost every Dutch household and with close to 200 million euros consumer turnover, one of the biggest brands in the Dutch supermarkets. Unox is loved by consumers and represents typical Dutch habits and values. Famous for warming the Dutch stomach with products like Smoked Sausages, Knaks & Soups and loved for warming the hearts with activations like the ‘Nieuwjaarsduik’, the Unox Winterefteling and Ice skating.
Unox is on a mission to “give everybody the warm feeling of home” and is driving programs like improvement of animal welfare, inspiring vegetable intake with soup and promoting a more plant forward diet with the launch of the vegetarian portfolio. For this local jewel the marketing team is E2E responsible for all portfolio, communication and activation projects, which makes the team agile, effective and very motivated.
In this context, we are looking for a highly motivated, entrepreneurial Brand Manager who is in it to win it, to build further on the future proof journey for Unox. Mainly by shaping the meat strategy, growing core portfolio and driving the (veggie)meat innovation roadmap and bringing this to life in an excellent way via campaigns and shopfloor activation, meanwhile building on the sustainability agenda. You will be part of the Unox squad team and will report to the Head of Marketing UNOX.
Working on this local jewel implies your responsibilities cover the full broadness of marketing: from strategic brand innovation, brand communication & activation to brilliant in-market implementation.
