Position Overview

We are seeking a strategic and experienced Logistics and Transportation Leader to oversee global warehousing, transportation, and order fulfillment for our MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging) business. This role ensures the efficient, compliant, and high-quality delivery of MRI systems and components, while leading high-performing teams and driving operational excellence. You will play a key role in logistics network optimization, regulatory compliance, and cross-functional alignment to support customer delivery, cost efficiency, and business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own global logistics operations, including inbound, warehousing, outbound transportation, and field inventory fulfillment.
  • Lead teams of warehouse operators and transport planners, promoting safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with health & safety, regulatory, trade, and sustainability standards across all logistics activities.
  • Develop and execute logistics and carrier strategies to improve cost, service levels, and reliability.
  • Drive process optimization, automation, and analytics to enhance operational efficiency and data accuracy.
  • Serve as a logistics subject matter expert, advising leadership on strategic decisions and infrastructure planning.
  • Manage vendor relationships, performance, and negotiations to ensure high-quality service delivery.
  • Lead key projects focused on logistics transformation, network design, and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 10+ years of experience in logistics, transportation, and supply chain leadership roles in a regulated industry, preferably healthcare technology or medical devices.
  • Bachelor's / Master's Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management or equivalent.
  • Proven expertise in leading global warehousing and transportation operations, including carrier management, field inventory strategies, and complex product movement.
  • Deep understanding of medical-grade logistics requirements, including quality assurance, regulatory compliance, product handling, and trade compliance.
  • Demonstrated success in strategic planning, network design, and logistics optimization, with measurable results in cost reduction and service level improvement.
  • Strong leadership and team-building skills with experience in managing frontline teams and indirect stakeholders across regions and functions.
  • Experience in developing and deploying digital tools, analytics platforms, and automation to improve logistics visibility and performance.
  • Advanced analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities, with the capacity to influence executive leadership, vendors, and internal business partners.
