Introduction

Our team within the HR department is responsible for enabling a high-performing organization by attracting, developing, and retaining top talent. This includes driving strategic workforce planning, supporting leadership development, fostering employee engagement, and ensuring that roles, responsibilities, and career paths are clearly defined and aligned with business goals. Our team also plays a key role in facilitating organizational change, promoting a culture of continuous improvement, and ensuring that the right capabilities are in place to meet current and future challenges.

Your assignment

The main responsibility for you, as an intern, will be to take ownership for a project and work closely with the HR team. ASML aims to attract talented and ambitious employees and foster their career development. However, due to the growing size of the organization, it is becoming difficult for employees to have a clear understanding on the next steps to take for growing their careers.

Key deliverables include (but are not limited to):

  • To support employees to gain clarity on the potential roles and paths to grow their careers and to equip their managers to support them in their journey,
  • Explore needs to define an action plan, which will include the use of available tools such as the Career Tracker, among other initiatives.
  • Define attention points from the exploration phase, and the creation, implementation and evaluation of solutions.

This is a master internship (not suited for a thesis project) for 6-12 months, minimum 4 days per week (3 days on-site). The start date of this internship is as soon as possible.

Your profile

To be a fit for this assignment, you:

  • Have a background in HRM or a related field;
  • Are a self-starter, driven and enthusiastic;
  • Have good communication skills (in English written and spoken), and speaking Dutch would be a plus;
  • Have a open communication style, and are someone who is empathic.

Other requirements you need to meet

  • You are enrolled at an educational institute for the entire duration of the internship;
  • You need to be located in the Netherlands to be perform your internship. In case you’re currently living/studying outside of the Netherlands, your CV/motivation letter includes the willingness to relocate.
  • If you are a non-EU citizen, studying in the Netherlands, your university is willing to sign the documents relevant for doing an internship (i.e., Nuffic agreement).
