Introduction

As a Talent Assessment Expert Lead, you will drive the strategic development and implementation of ASML’s global talent assessment framework. This role is pivotal in shaping how talent is identified, evaluated, and developed across the organization and how assessments are being used in selection, development, promotion and succession. You bring deep expertise in assessment psychology or psychometrics and act as a thought leader, advisor, and connector across HR, business leaders, and external partners.

In addition the organization, coordination and execution of Talent Assessments and upskilling others in newly created methodologies is in scope for this role.

You’ll be part of the Talent management Expertise Team and will report to Head of Talent Management Expertise.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Ownership: Design and evolve ASML’s talent assessment strategy, aligning it with leadership development, succession planning, and talent acquisition goals.
  • Expert Advisory: Serve as the internal expert on talent assessments, leveraging psychological and psychometric methodologies to ensure rigor and relevance.
  • Framework Development: Build and refine assessment frameworks and tools, integrating best practices and external innovations.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Partner with senior leaders, HRBPs, and external suppliers to ensure assessments are impactful, scalable, and aligned with business needs.
  • Operational Oversight: Oversee the end-to-end execution of assessments, including planning, logistics, facilitator coordination, and feedback delivery.
  • Data-Driven Insights: Analyze assessment outcomes to generate actionable insights, inform talent decisions, and continuously improve processes.
  • Governance & Quality: Ensure compliance, standardization, and high-quality candidate and stakeholder experience throughout the assessment lifecycle.
  • Supplier Management: Evaluate and manage external vendors, ensuring alignment with ASML’s standards and strategic direction.

Education and Experience

  • Master’s degree in Psychology, Psychometrics, HR, or related field.
  • 10+ years in HR or talent management, with a strong focus on executive assessments and talent management in global organizations.

Skills

  • Proficiency in data analysis and visualization (Excel, PowerPoint); familiarity with LMS and assessment platforms.
