You get off the train or car at Bussum Zuid station, cross the street and enter our office. On our second floor, you look out over the trees where birds sing and the occasional train passes by. Sitting in a corner, colleagues have a brainstorm while you finish the last slides for a proposal that will be presented soon. Soft music sounds in the background, and someone makes fresh coffee. Colleagues walk in, greet each other and sit down at one of the desks. Someone asks to take a moment to think about a strategic question that arose during a client meeting. At The Next Organisation, you will work on your own research as well as have the opportunity to gain practical experience within strategic consulting.

What you will do:

• Conduct independent research in collaboration with The Next Organisation.
• Develop and share insights that contribute to the further development of our clients and our own organisation.
• You will have the opportunity to contribute to client projects by working as a work-study student one or more days a week.

What we are looking for in you:

• Curiosity, entrepreneurial, commercial, self-starting and full of ideas.
• Broad interest in strategy, customer behaviour and organisational development.
• An innovative and inquisitive mindset.
• You are following a WO study in, for example, (technical) business administration, business economics, international business or strategic management.
• Command of the Dutch language at a professional level to communicate with our Dutch customers.

Possible thesis topics:

• Quantifying the impact of social and environmental sustainability on economic performance.
• Methodologies for implementing sustainability, including success factors such as support, stakeholder management and dealing with environmental and social challenges.
• Applying Artificial Intelligence in, for example, the us Network Business Model Canvas or other tools and methodologies within our customer profile.
