The National Accounting Manager is responsible for overseeing financial reporting, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and leading a team of finance professionals to maintain accurate financial records. This role plays a critical part in supporting strategic financial decisions and ensuring transparency in financial operations.

How you create impact

• Oversee financial accounting and reporting in accordance with IFRS and Dutch accounting standards.
• Deliver timely, accurate financial statements and reporting.
• Ensure consistent application of accounting policies and procedures in close collaboration with Corporate Knowledge Centers.
• Drive process improvement and cost efficiency initiatives across financial operations.
• Maintain strong internal control systems and lead compliance audits.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to provide financial insights and support business decision-making.
• Manage and develop a team of 5 finance professionals, promoting continuous learning and performance excellence.
• Monitor financial regulation updates and ensure timely implementation of necessary changes.

What we would like you to bring

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related discipline.
• 5–10 years of experience in financial accounting and reporting, preferably within a multinational company.
• In-depth knowledge of IFRS and Dutch accounting standards.
• Leadership mindset with the motivation to mentor and support the team.
• Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Experience in logistics or supply chain industry is a strong advantage.
• Proficient in finance systems and Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
