We’re looking for a People Operations Specialist to join our international People team — someone who is energized by the opportunity to combine hands-on operational excellence with advisory support. In this role, you’ll work closely with the People Business Partners for our Commercial and Finance departments to support employee relations, while taking ownership of critical People Ops processes and the monthly payroll cycle across five countries. You’ll be an essential contributor to our employee experience, ensuring smooth operations, compliance, and continuous improvement.

What you’ll achieve in your first year

  • Own and manage the monthly payroll process across five European countries (FR, NL, DE, UK, CH), working with our global payroll provider (Remote) and internal stakeholders to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant payments;
  • Take ownership of 3 key operational areas (Onboarding, Contracting, Mobility & Immigration)
  • Prepare and manage employment documentation while maintaining accurate up-to-date employee data in our HR systems - we use Personio, ensuring data integrity across platforms;
  • Become the go-to contact for employee queries related to People topics in the departments and operational areas you support;
  • Coordinate with internal teams (e.g. IT, Talent Acquisition, Legal, Finance) and external vendors (e.g. Your Talent Agency, LComp, TravelPerk) to deliver seamless employee support;
  • Collaborate closely with the People BP for Commercial and Finance to support employee relations topics within those departments (e.g. internal transitions, sick leave, employee cases, and exit interviews);
  • Support broader People & Culture topics and initiatives, with a focus in H2 2025 on culture, growth & development, and reward & recognition.

What you’ll bring

  • Experience with HR- & payroll processes across European markets
  • Familiarity with employee relations support, especially in collaboration with HR Business Partners and line managers;
  • High attention to detail and confidence in handling data accuracy, systems, documentation, and reporting — including proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets, HRIS, and payroll platforms;
  • A proactive, solution-oriented mindset with excellent organizational skills;
  • Strong communication skills and a customer-centric approach to employee support;
  • Fluency in English and Dutch.
