Clinical Developer Intern

You will be responsible for supporting the development efforts for the Philips SDC alarm management services using Agile-Scrum methodology.

Your role:

  • Aids in the development of new services offers with direct link with Philips technology launches, demonstrating great inter-personal and communication skills.
  • Provide business insights and supports day-to-day activities to develop an alarm management services offer.
  • Analyzes data related to clinical alarms, monitoring parameters, vitals measurements identifying significant trends, patterns, and anomalies, and delivering actionable recommendations that drive data-informed decisions.
  • Works closely with the SDC Product Owner, organizing, completing and updating documentation, ensuring quality compliance and following good documentation practices.

KPI’s will be based on the completion of two main deliverables:

  • Summary of the business Pros and Cons for the different monetization possibilities to launch alarm management services, including recommendations.
  • Inventory and assessment including Pros and Cons of the main alarm data analytics tools, highlighting 5 criteria: Technical Feasibility, Privacy and Security, Usability, Scalability and Marketing (pricing and attractiveness)

You're the right fit if:

  • Have a Bachelors in Business or Economics and are studying for Master in Data Science
  • Are fully proficient in English and speak/write additional languages.
  • Have knowledge of the data mining tools (phyton, R, SQL) and machine learning.
  • You are familiar with ITIL framework and have experience with Scrum methodology
  • Are a team player, structured worker, have problem solving and root cause analysis skills.

How we work together
We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week.

  • Monthly full-time allowance between €500 - €700 gross, depending on educational level and if you would need to relocate to The Netherlands. If you will perform a part-time internship you will receive the allowance pro-rata.
  • Housing compensation, in case of relocating to the vicinity of the office, €300 net if location is in the vicinity of Amsterdam, €255 net for all other Philips locations. You need to provide a rental contract of the landlord, and your normal home-work travel distance need to be more than 50 km or travel time (one way trip) need to be more than 1.5 hours.
  • Travel compensation, if you are not eligible for a free public transport card; you will receive max. €192 net
  • Paid holidays per internship term.
  • The opportunity to buy Philips equipment at our Philips shop
