About Gradyent

Providing heating and cooling for homes, buildings and industry accounts for roughly 50% of global energy consumption. Smart production, exchange, and consumption of heat in heating grids is the most significant opportunity for cities and industries to decarbonise. Yet, as heating grids transform towards renewables, they become increasingly complex and require a new approach to control and design.

Gradyent is a leading software provider that helps cities and heavy industry decarbonise faster by digitising, optimising, and transforming their heat networks with our Digital Twin. We are scaling the platform globally and looking for a driven Senior Product Analyst to support our product team.

You will play an essential role in our product discovery and definition processes, and drive an important part of our product operations. Your primary responsibility will be to help us organize and build a system to maintain a consistent overview of our product knowledge and functionalities, and drive quality and clarity on our product definition from ideation to start of development.

As part of your role, you will play an active role in pre-sales and early phases of large/complex projects, where you will support in reviewing client requirements and translate them into high level refinement for the product teams. You will do this in close collaboration with our commercial and customer operations teams.

You will also contribute to building out our user analytics capabilities. This involves introducing product analytics and engaging with our operations team to collect, categorize, and analyze customer usage data. Your insights will help shape data-driven decisions, optimize user experience, and identify areas for product improvement.

Lastly, you will get the chance to contribute to maturing our product management practices and, together with the Product Core Group, set our product vision and strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with product engineering teams and domain experts to organize comprehensive knowledge about our product. Foster a unified understanding of the product’s features, use cases, and the benefits they bring to our customers in a coherent system that you build out over time.
  • Support the entire process of translating requirements (functional and non-functional) from new, complex, high-impact projects into internal user stories and required product capabilities for our development teams.
  • Work closely with our product development teams to estimate the effort required for each initiative and align those initiatives with the general product roadmap
  • Evangelize user-centric thinking and train our organization on proficiency in writing and documenting requirements, use case, user stories and drive product excellence
  • Introduce product analytics and engage with our operations team to collect, categorize, and analyze customer usage data

In addition, there is the possibility (but not hard requirement) to contribute to our product management practices. This can be translated in responsibilities such as:

  • Collaborate with the Product Core Group to establish a clear product strategy and roadmap.
  • Continuously identify areas for process improvement within our product management practices.

What You Bring

  • MSc or higher in engineering, physics, data analytics, computer science or related

  • Strong business acumen with solid grasp of engineering context
  • Self-driving with ability to take full ownership of your work
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and change in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to organize complex requirements into a coherent structure, ensuring clarity and alignment with project goals.
  • The ability to capture nuances and specific details from extensive documents without losing sight of the overall strategic goal.
  • Effective collaboration with stakeholders, including clients, engineers, and domain experts.
  • User-Centric mindset, prioritizing the end user’s experience and value for user/client.
  • Data-driven decision making mindset to inform product choices
