Global Procurement Advertising Manager

Hoofddorp/Hybrid

As the Global C&P Manager for Advertising, you will play a strategic leadership role in shaping and executing the global category vision. You will be responsible for delivering business value across cost, cash, innovation, and supplier performance, while strengthening Danone’s competitive edge. Your impact will span cross-category synergies, transformation initiatives, and high-level stakeholder engagement. This role sits at the intersection of marketing transformation, procurement, and performance management. It requires deep expertise in marketing procurement and the agility to anticipate and respond to evolving industry trends.

Key responsabilities:

  • Maximizing the ROI of Spend: Optimize the efficiency and effectiveness of Advertising investments globally ensuring alignment with business priorities.
  • Acting as a Strategic Business Partner: Collaborate with the Global VP of Media and IBC to define the 3 years roadmap of the category and drive data-informed strategic decisions.
  • Designing and Executing Category Strategies: Develop innovative, insight-driven sourcing strategies that balance agility and long-term value, tailored to evolving business models and market dynamics.
  • Driving Strategic Supplier Partnerships: Lead and manage relationships with key agency partners and solution providers, ensuring performance, innovation, and long-term value delivery.
  • Championing Supplier-Led Innovation: Create space for innovation by actively collaborating with agencies and partners to surface breakthrough ideas, capabilities, and new ways of working.
  • Upholding Governance and Compliance: Ensure all procurement activities are aligned with Danone’s ethical standards, governance frameworks, and compliance requirements.
  • Developing Talent and Team Capability: Mentor and empower a high-performing team, fostering a culture of accountability, growth, and continuous improvement.

Sobre ti

We are looking for experienced procurement manager with 10+ years professional marketing procurement experience. You have worked in a global or regional marketing procurement role within a large matrix organization. Specifically, you have FMCG advertising knowdlege, what will be a must. Ideally you have a broader experience in marketing procurement.

Furthermore you have:

  • Experience of working within a complex environment.
  • Collaborative leadership style – able to mobilize and influence in a matrixed organization
  • Strategic vision combined with the ability to be hands on/entrepreneurial, you are comfortable dealing with ambiguity and able to bring clarity and structure
  • Experience in partnering with an executive team with strong analytical & storytelling capability to facilitate and drive decision making
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, negotiation, presentation and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Authentic, genuine leader who values transparency, openness, and drives accountability. You have strong management/people skills and coaching capability
  • Highly developed communication and influencing skills
  • You are fluent in English, French would be an asset
