Vacancy description
As a Customs and Trade Compliance Specialist, you will play a key role in ensuring that FrieslandCampina’s international trade operations run smoothly and in full compliance with customs and export regulations. Your daily responsibilities will include managing and improving trade compliance processes, advising internal stakeholders, and monitoring regulatory developments that impact our global supply chain.
You will work closely with various departments, including Procurement, Quality, Logistics, Finance, Sales and IT, as well as external stakeholders such as customs authorities, veterinary bodies and trade advisors. Your scope is both local and international, with a focus on supporting "European" business groups and export flows.
You will have a tangible impact by minimising compliance risks and optimising trade processes. This will help safeguard FrieslandCampina’s licence to operate and contribute to our purpose of Doing Dairy Right. For instance, your work ensures that dairy products reach global markets efficiently and in accordance with legal requirements (customs and export), benefiting customers, consumers and member farmers alike.
