This role supports the Global Finance Data and Analytics function, with a focus on expanding the capabilities of a range of data sets and analytics tools, dashboards, projects, and reports, including developing the planned Finance Datamart and Finance Analytics Hub. Working closely with the Corporate Accounts team, the role will streamline and automate legacy reporting and deliver scalable, data-driven insights that inform decision-making across regions. The position combines hands-on data work, reporting automation, and ad hoc analysis with cross-functional collaboration and communication. It is well-suited for someone with strong technical skills in SQL, Tableau, and Python, who thrives in a fast-paced, evolving analytics environment.

This is a hybrid position with the expectation to be onsite at our headquarters at least 8-days a month in Westbrook, ME.

What You Will Be Doing:

  • You will support the evolution of global data and analytics capabilities within Finance, including the development and maintenance of the Finance Datamart and Finance Analytics Hub.
  • You will partner with the Corporate Accounts team to modernize and transition legacy reporting into scalable, automated analytics solutions.
  • You will build and maintain dashboards, reports, and analytical tools that support both strategic initiatives and day-to-day decision-making across regions.
  • You will perform ad hoc analyses on market trends, customer behaviors, and financial performance.
  • You will automate recurring reporting tasks to increase efficiency and reduce manual effort.
  • You will support contract performance and compliance monitoring through data analysis.
  • You will develop familiarity with financial and customer information systems to support cross-functional reporting and collaboration.
  • You will identify areas for improvement and propose data-driven recommendations and enhancements.
  • You will clearly communicate insights and findings to stakeholders through visuals, written summaries, and presentations.
  • You will collaborate with global teams to drive consistency and alignment in reporting standards and practices.

What You Need To Succeed:

  • Proficiency in SQL for querying large datasets and working within environments such as Snowflake or Business Objects.
  • Exposure to financial and customer information systems such as SAP, Salesforce, or ERP platforms.
  • Understanding of financial principles and business metrics.
  • Familiarity with dashboard development and reporting automation.
  • Working knowledge of data visualization tools such as Tableau, with experience creating calculations and dashboards that follow good user interface and visualization design practices.
  • Experience using modern tools for data transformation and aggregation, including Python.
  • Basic understanding of statistical concepts such as descriptive statistics, confidence intervals, and hypothesis testing.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
  • Comfortable working with multiple systems for data retrieval and analysis.
  • Quick to learn and adopt new analytical tools and technologies.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal; able to explain analytical findings to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
