Maak elk evenement onvergetelijk bij Moyee Coffee

Are you ready to make every event unforgettable? As our Head of Events and Partnerships, you’ll lead the charge in planning, producing, and bringing to life our own events as well as those for our partners. We’re looking for someone who can take an idea and turn it into a seamless, impactful experience from start to finish.

In this role, you’ll be the go-to for everything from concept creation to the nitty-gritty of budget and logistics. You’ll manage relationships with external partners, suppliers, and our internal teams, keeping everyone aligned on the same goal: exceptional, memorable events that hit the mark every time.

PAY ATTENTION, WE LOOK FOR A TRUE FESTIVAL WARRIOR READY, WILLING AND ABLE TO STAY AT MUDDY FESTIVAL CAMPING SITES AT ONE WEEK TO SUIT UP THE WEEK AFTER TO ROCK AT A FASHION SHOW!

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Event Visionary: Develop fresh, bold event concepts that stand out and resonate, whether it’s our own gathering or a partner collaboration.
  • Relationship Builder: Coordinate and communicate with external partners, suppliers, and internal teams to keep events on track and aligned with expectations.
  • Budget Boss: Handle budgets with precision, ensuring every event is impactful, high-quality, and within financial scope.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Bring Events to Life: Lead each event from initial idea to final execution, ensuring smooth operations and unforgettable moments.
  • Resource Management: Make decisions on resources, logistics, and budgets to keep things running efficiently and creatively.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Experience & Expertise: You have proven chops in event planning, especially in partnership-driven contexts.
  • Financial Savvy & Attention to Detail: Strong skills in budgeting, supplier management, and logistics to make sure every detail is covered.
  • Eye for Design: An understanding of branding and booth layout design (bonus if you know your way around Photoshop) to make each space visually compelling. Quality Obsessed? So Are We.

Our standards are high. We want every event to raise the bar, creating experiences that linger long after they’re over. You’ll be gathering feedback and refining processes to ensure we’re always delivering top-tier quality.

Sustainability in Action: From reducing waste to prioritizing recyclable materials, we’re committed to hosting events that are impactful but light on the planet.

Some Moyee Facts

FairChain is all about sharing more of the value created in producing countries, with other producing countries. In other words, helping the people who grow our coffee to enjoy a bigger chunk of the €4 we spend on our double shot cappuccinos. It probably doesn’t come as a surprise that all that profit stays in the West. FairChain aims to change all that. [mo-jie] is the way we pronounce Moyee, but don’t feel obliged. Turn it into something that sounds natural to you! Mo•yee is the Ethiopian word for mortar. Ethiopians traditionally use this to grind their roasted beans. This makes it a symbol of the FairChain ideology: industrialization of coffee-producing countries. At the same time it is also a symbol for the current imbalance in the coffee chain. As with many household tools people treat the mortar without much respect.

The capital ‘M’ embodies the core value of the Moyee identity. By this we mean a 50/50 split – 50% for them, 50% for us. We pay our farmers a good price for their very best beans, but a 50/50 is what we’re fighting to achieve. The symmetrical ‘M’ embodies this 50/50 split in the coffee chain.

Vandaar Moyee.
