About the role

Reporting to the Artwork & Asset Process manager this person will be responsible for providing the most effective route to artwork project delivery within the existing operating model and process and will own the day-to-day relationship with our artwork and repro agency partners. The role will require daily liaison with key organizational process stakeholders across various geographies in multiple functions; R&D, Regulatory Compliance, Legal, 3D Packaging, Procurement, Supply and Design.

The ideal candidate will have a production planning and management background – with some direct experience of artwork planning and print specification. You will support operating model/process application, guard adherence and ensure teams are aware of their accountabilities/responsibilities. You will be responsible to flag process deviations, risks to compliance and delivery.

You will be a key partner to both our business and our agency partners ensuring expectations are always managed across all project stakeholders and queries and disputes are settled in a timely manner to ultimately enable Essential Home to consistently deliver against design intent. You will also ensure artwork & repro agency capacity is available for artwork demand forecasted.

The role will be based in Amsterdam Schiphol WTC or Hull, UK – and involves some global travel.

Your responsibilities

Process Management

  • Support the development/gathering feedback around the rollout of process changes
  • Guard the artwork production Standard Operating Process – ensuring global compliance
  • Ensure clarity technical/compliance process requirements to internal and external stakeholders
  • Pro-actively involve relevant project stakeholders to enable effective project delivery
  • Ensure clarity on roles, accountabilities and responsibilities across internal and external stakeholders
  • Mediate challenges across different levels (both internal and external) enabling effective delivery
  • Immediately escalate process deviations/project challenges to maximise opportunity to mitigate
  • Evaluate and advise improvement measures through project wash-ups
  • Effectively support multiple projects and priorities at the same time

Production Capacity Management

  • Set up and align project design/artwork matrix across design team, marketing, artwork & repro partner
  • Calculate and assign master asset/artwork budgets (as part of design budget)
  • Pro-actively gather (future) artwork project information to enable capacity planning
  • Translate projects into artwork and repro agency partner forecast
  • Manage print/on-press approval network (via artwork/repro supplier network)
  • Effectively organize and apply global lead artwork and repro agency capacity
  • Escalate possible resource challenges to trigger upscaling/prioritization
  • Report accuracy of information obtained back to the business to educate

Stakeholder management

  • Build/ maintain a strong connection with internal and external stakeholders
  • Identify/involve all relevant stakeholders to enable effective project delivery
  • Gather/evaluate and value internal and external stakeholder viewpoints
  • Maintain information availability for all stakeholders
  • Ensure an aligned approach across all stakeholders
  • Identify and share learnings from any challenge
  • Be the trusted objective voice of reason in any project
  • Promote high performance culture through coaching and giving/receiving feedback
  • Manage the day-to-day relationship with global artwork/repro partners.

The experience we're looking for

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in relevant field (marketing/sustainability/e-comm/business)
  • Project management qualifications are considered a plus
  • Experience working as part of a cross-functional team
  • Base understanding of multiple disciplines including Marketing, R&D, Supply Chain and Finance
  • Excellent organisational & communication skills, particularly across different cultures
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skill in English
  • Able to convey information clearly and concisely across diverse audiences/all levels
