Internship Analytics Engineer

You & your future
During this Internship, you will work on your career at Rabobank. You do this by gaining practical experience in a professional environment with IT experts.

Examples of projects/tasks

• Develop Python code including some front-end
• Work on an ML algorithm relevant for finance
• Explore ways to performance enhance the code
• Visualize the results
• Participate in activities of a 200+ people tribe to get a good understanding of how large corporations operate

Practical details

• Period: 5-8 months
• Hours per week: 24-40h (3-5d)
• Starting date: As soon as possible

You & your talent

In the internship there is plenty of room for you to learn new skills, but some skills are already nice to have;

• Python (numpy, tensorflow, scikit are a plus, but not necessary – we believe in your ability to learn)
• Basic understanding of mathematics (i.e., beginner’s knowledge of statistics)
• Enjoying learning new concepts and logical thinking
• You are pursuing an HBO or WO degree in physics or another quantitative field (mathematics, engineering, computer science);
• You are really proactive, you are not afraid to ask questions, you are to give ideas a try instead of hesitating
• You are a strong communicator in English (at least C1); Dutch is irrelevant
• You are self-starting, flexible and have an analytical mindset
