We are looking for a skilled Medior System Engineer with a strong focus on Azure to join our dynamic team.

What you'll do

  • Provide L1/L2 support for internal tooling deployed on Azure, ensuring high availability and reliability.
  • Monitor and respond to incidents and alerts, following well-defined runbooks and escalation procedure.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot reported issues, managing them through to successful resolution.
  • Document procedures, solutions, and knowledge articles for support team use.
  • Continuously look for opportunities to automate routine tasks and improve tooling support efficiency.
  • Ensure that the solution always runs in a compliant, secure and cost-effective way.
  • Work with the other Devops engineering teams to implement Azure's latest features and services to operational efficiency and cloud cost control.

Who you are

We are looking for a colleague who has affinity with technical topics, is eager to learn and importantly, is a team player.

  • You have at least 5 years of experience in system engineering including at least 3 years of working with Azure cloud services in roles like system administration, DevOps support, or infrastructure support roles.
  • You have created software and infrastructure delivery pipelines using common CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab).
  • You have experience in containerization (Docker) and container orchestration (Kubernetes).
  • You have strong communication skills allowing you to drive initiatives and decisions inside and outside your team.
  • You have strong troubleshooting skills and experience handling L1/L2 incidents.
  • You are an automation-first connoisseur. Not content with anything manual, your goal is to make every process predictable and automated.
  • You have experience in automating operations tasks with one or more scripting languages.
  • You have familiarity with CI/CD tools and development workflows.
  • You have hands-on with GitHub, SonarCloud, and Infrastructure as Code using Terraform (nice to have).
  • You have exposure to other monitoring or DevOps tools (e.g., Grafana, Datadog, Jenkins, etc.).
  • Azure cloud certifications (Azure Administrator/Azure Solution Architect) are a plus.
