Internship – Global Supply Chain at HEINEKEN

The internship

At HEINEKEN, you will contribute to optimizing our end-to-end supply chain processes, from Supply Chain Planning to Customer Service & Logistics. This is your chance to combine analytical thinking and creativity to solve real business challenges while working in a global environment.

What You’ll Be Working On

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Assist in aligning on Logistics Trade Terms (LTT) execution and structure around our businesses (OpCos) in Europe.
  • Analyse LTT compliance rate and provide inputs based on daily execution to identify areas for improvement.
  • Improve the daily way of working with current solution and identify scope of work for development.
  • User adoption rate monitoring supported by training materials update, communication and knowledge transfer to our OpCos.
  • Key Projects:
  • Conduct research and create a literature review on best practices for service strategy execution supported by technology.
  • Design a knowledge management way of working to improve adoption rate of the users.
  • Redesign of LTT compliance reporting based on data sources change.
  • Contribute to strategic initiatives to enhance LTT compliance while driving efficiency.
  • Collaboration: You’ll work closely with the Global Supply Chain team, including experts in Customer Service, Logistics, and Data & Analytics. You’ll interact with cross-functional colleagues in different global departments.

The department

The Global Customer Service Capabilities team, part of HEINEKEN Global Supply and Customer Service & Logistics, defines and standardizes how we deliver exceptional service worldwide. The team focuses on developing digital products to drive efficiency and productivity, while also refining processes, KPIs, and cross-functional collaboration. Joining us means contributing to global supply chain excellence and digital transformation in a dynamic, innovative environment.

The terms of employment

  • Your starting date is 1 September 2025.
  • The internship is fulltime.
  • The duration of the internship is 5 or 6 months.
  • It is a practice-oriented internship.
  • You will be based in Amsterdam.
  • During your internship, you have the flexibility to work in a hybrid setup.
  • You will receive an internship fee of €650 gross pm based on 40 hours per week.
  • You will enjoy 2 vacation days per month (based on fulltime).
  • If you do not have a student OV product, your commuting expenses will be fully reimbursed.

  • You’re a great collaborator who thrives in a dynamic, international environment and isn’t afraid to share fresh ideas.
  • You’re currently doing your master program in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Digital & Technology, Data Engineering or a related field.

Conditions of HEINEKEN

  1. You are enrolled at an educational institution.
    1. In the case of non-EU nationality, you must be registered as an intern with a Dutch educational institution, from which we receive proof of enrollment for the current academic year from you.
    2. In case of EU nationality, you may also be registered as an intern at educational institutions outside the EU.
  2. Living in the Netherlands during internship (HEINEKEN does not facilitate housing).
