As a Supply Chain Engineer, you have a keen eye for analyzing, improving, and harmonizing logistical and product-oriented flows within our factory and organization. You’ll be working in a dynamic environment where new projects are constantly being launched for both existing and new customers in the high-tech sector.

In this pivotal role, you collaborate closely with various departments. Based on your analyses, you take initiative, set up concrete actions, and ensure proper implementation. You’re capable of overseeing the entire production process from picking in the warehouse to final delivery to the customer.

We're looking for someone with:

• A completed bachelor's or master’s degree, preferably in logistics, supply chain, or industrial engineering;
• At least 3 years of experience in supply chain roles is a strong advantage, but highly motivated recent graduates (Msc level) are also welcome;
• Good command of both Dutch and English;
• Solid knowledge of MS Office and experience or affinity with ERP systems;
• Availability for 32 to 40 hours per week.

Your daily responsibilities include

You’ll be actively involved in topics such as delivery performance, demand management, lead time reduction, risk mitigation, flexibility, and workload balancing. You’ll work closely with the Customer Focus Teams, Category Teams, and Operations, with a key focus on optimizing the information flow of work-in-progress. You ensure the value chain meets the desired levels of efficiency and effectiveness. This role offers a high level of challenge, pushing you to harmonize and optimize all activities that support the factory flow.

Further responsibilities include:

• Assessing the logistical priority of production orders and taking appropriate measures;
• Improving and advancing the use of the ERP system and related tools;
• Coordinating tasks that contribute to optimal flow in production;
• Identifying and addressing logistical improvement opportunities by participating in multidisciplinary project teams;
• Supporting and advising customer teams in making logistical agreements. You are involved from the start and keep a sharp eye on all relevant aspects.
